Thursday Jun 09, 2022

How do I know that I am saved? This is the million dollar question. I raised my hand, and I said the prayer verbatim, is that enough? I felt goosebumps all over at church when I repeated the sinner's prayer, does that mean that I am born again? Can I have an assurance of true salvation? Yes!

THE DAY MICKEY WENT WOKE -indoctrination through entertainment
Wednesday May 04, 2022
Wednesday May 04, 2022
We are living in a war of cultures, ideas, philosophies, and ideologies. This woke culture has gained momentum and it is no longer subtle or even subliminal. It is LOUD and evident everywhere you turn. The hearts of our children are the targets and the goal is to capture them in an effort to reframe their minds and reprogram. Guarding their hearts and minds has never been as important as is today. The LGBTQIA2S+ movement is aggressive and infiltrating all forms of media and education. The greatest tool of indoctrination is through education and thus you must become more selective as to who you allow to disciple your children. This is no joke. It is real and it can't be stressed enough. Stand firm. Be sober minded. And fight for their hearts and minds.

The explicit proximal cause seems clear. Comedian Chris Rock made a joke in bad taste in reference to Will Smith’s wife, Jada Pinkett Smith. Smith got angry, walked on stage, and slapped Rock. Chris insulted Jada; Will punished Chris.
While this narrative is a good start, it does not explain why Smith would perform such a socially unacceptable and inappropriate behavior—notwithstanding a form of physical violence—in such a public forum. In fact, the forum itself, with its cameras everywhere, may have played a large part in the story.
Psychological science has a rich history and demonstrates that behavior is complex. "Smith was angered and so he slapped Rock" provides just one reason for the behavior. What else is going on? (Psychology Today)

WHAT DID YOU SAY??? -the unleashed power of your words
Thursday Mar 10, 2022
Thursday Mar 10, 2022
Words are not simply sounds caused by our mouths shaping air passing through our larynx. Words have real power. God spoke the world into being by the power of His words (Hebrews 11:3). Humans are made in God's image, and our words also have power. To be clear, human words do not have the power to manifest reality. But our words do more than convey information; they have an impact on people. The power of our words can burden one’s spirit, even stir up hatred and violence. Words can exacerbate wounds and inflict them directly. Alternately, words can build up and be life-giving (Proverbs 18:21; Ephesians 4:29; Romans 10:14–15). Of all the creatures on this planet, only humans have the ability to communicate through the spoken word. The power to use words is a unique and powerful gift from God.Our words have the power to destroy and the power to build up (Proverbs 12:6). The writer of Proverbs tells us, “The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit” (Proverbs 18:21). Are we using words to build up people or destroy them? Are they being filled with hate or love, bitterness or blessing, complaining or compliments, lust or love, victory or defeat? Words are tools that can make life better, but any tool can be misused.Words are so important that we are going to give an account of what we say when we stand before the Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus said, “But I tell you that men will have to give account on the day of judgment for every careless word they have spoken. For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned” (Matthew 12:36–37).
